My recent stay at The Reeds At Shelter Haven was a mix of wonderful moments and frustrating issues. The rooms were modern and clean, which I really appreciated, especially since I was six months pregnant. However, the management's handling of a room issue left much to be desired, overshadowing the positives of the stay.

I had a fantastic experience at The Reeds at Shelter Haven. The room was comfortable and well-kept, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, making sure all my needs were met. Dining at the Walter Salt Grill was a highlight, with delicious food and a stunning view at sunset. However, I wish I had received birthday cupcakes for my husband, which we missed this time. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I'm looking forward to returning soon.

My recent stay at The Reeds at Shelter Haven was a mix of wonderful and frustrating moments. While I appreciated the beautiful outdoor dining area and the staff's friendly service, the noise levels and some service issues dampened the experience. I loved the beach access and comfortable rooms, but the overall experience was too noisy for me to fully enjoy. 🌊

I had a mix of experiences at The Reeds at Shelter Haven. The vibe was definitely nice with a beautiful interior, but I faced several inconveniences like noisy rooms and water issues. Despite some staff being super friendly and accommodating, I expected more given the price tag.

Rooms

The rooms were modern and clean but suffered from some noise issues, as I could hear conversations in the next room. Overall, it felt airy but the bed comfort was off with an overly soft feel.
Service
5.0
The staff was generally friendly and tried to be helpful, but I felt they were a bit understaffed since some issues weren't addressed immediately.
Location
5.0
The location was great, close to everything in town and right by the water, but parking was a hassle since only street parking was available when I visited.
Dining

Dining options were decent with a nice brunch and the complimentary breakfast, but it didn't quite wow me.
Facilities

Facilities like the spa were enjoyable, but overall, the hotel needs some maintenance work to enhance the guest experience.

My recent stay at The Reeds At Shelter Haven was quite a mixed bag. The beautiful and clean rooms, along with the really good dining options, really impressed me. However, my experience was overshadowed by some management issues, particularly concerning noise and communication during my stay. Overall, while I enjoyed many aspects of the hotel, the service needed to be more attentive to guest concerns.

Rooms
8.0
The room was beautifully decorated, with wood floors that felt clean and bright. I loved the comfortable bed and the huge bathtub. However, I noticed that the lack of carpets may contribute to noise from foot traffic in the hotel.
Service
5.0
While the service staff were friendly and attentive, I felt let down by management's response to a noise issue with some loud guests nearby. They initially offered to move us but did not follow up or provide any compensation afterward, which was disappointing.
Location
9.0
The hotel is located in the heart of a charming downtown area with plenty of eateries and shops, which I really appreciated. It's a fantastic spot for those wanting to explore Stone Harbor.
Dining

Breakfast was one of the best I've had on the island, with generous portions and healthy options. The outdoor dining area is fabulous, especially with live music on Sundays, enhancing the experience.
Facilities

The amenities were great, with beach setups and attentive staff, but I felt the management could do better in addressing guest concerns about disturbances.
